Normetic concerns the exchange of data describing Learning Resources (LRs), which are usually digital and available directly via the Web. A LR search is performed by viewing a set of descriptive records that follow a specific description scheme (which determines the fields used and their format). This site is dedicated to the implementation of Normetic, an application profile of the LOM (Learning Object Metadata) standard, as a description scheme for LRs.

The website structure is simple. The section on the left allows you to select information to be displayed on the right. Six links are included for information about understanding and implementing the Normetic application profile.

This website provides contents in French only to support individuals and organizations who want to implement the Normetic profile for the exchange of metadata. It includes guidelines, reference documents, and information about repository projects stemming from the Quebec education environment.
